Your confirmation has the departure time and meeting point for your specific tour. Our Tromsø tours leave from different locations, so please check the address carefully and arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Dress for the weather
The weather can change quickly in Northern Norway. Wear layers, sturdy shoes and a windproof or waterproof outer layer. For evening tours, bring warm socks, gloves and a hat—you may spend time outdoors waiting for the Northern Lights.
Tell us what you need
Let us know about allergies, dietary requirements or anything that could affect your participation before your tour. When you meet your guide, mention any arrangements you’ve already made, such as an agreed drop-off point.

Frequently asked questions about our Tromsø and Senja Tours
What should I wear?
Dress in warm layers and bring a windproof or waterproof jacket. Sturdy shoes with good grip are important, especially in winter. For Northern Lights tours, bring a hat, gloves and warm socks, you may spend time standing outside.
Where do I meet my guide?
Our tours depart from different locations in Tromsø. You’ll find the exact meeting point and departure time in your booking confirmation. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Will my tour run if the weather is bad?
Most tours run in changing Arctic weather. Your guide may adjust the route or stops to suit the conditions. If we need to cancel for safety reasons, we’ll contact you.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
The conditions in your booking confirmation apply. If you booked through a travel platform, request changes or cancellation through that platform. If you booked directly with us, email hello@uniquenorway.com.

Am I guaranteed to see the Northern Lights?
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. Your guide will use current forecasts to look for the best available conditions. If the tour runs but the lights do not appear, this alone does not qualify for a refund.
