  • photographs taken during tours;
  • technical information such as IP address, browser type and website activity; and
  • payment and transaction information.

Payments are processed through providers such as Stripe, Bókun or approved booking platforms. We do not normally receive or store your complete card details.

Where special information such as allergies or health conditions is required, we collect only what is reasonably necessary. Where legally required, we will ask for separate explicit consent.

We may share relevant information with:

5. Photos & Marketing

Photos may be taken during tours where photography is included. These photos may be delivered privately to participants.

We will not use identifiable photos or videos for advertising, social media or other promotional purposes without separate consent.

Marketing consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting hello@uniquenorway.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect previous lawful use, but we will stop future use and remove the material from channels under our control where reasonably possible.

Consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before identifiable photos of children are used for promotional purposes.

6. Cookies

Our website may use necessary cookies to function correctly.

With your permission, we may also use optional analytics or marketing cookies to understand website usage and improve our services. Where required, optional cookies will not be activated until you provide consent.

You can change or withdraw your cookie choices through the cookie settings available on our website.

Booking, transaction and accounting information may be retained for the period required by Norwegian law. General enquiries are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Health, allergy and dietary information is normally deleted when it is no longer required for the tour or any related safety matter.
