Dress for the weather
Lofoten’s weather can change quickly. Wear comfortable shoes and bring warm layers and a windproof or waterproof jacket, even if the forecast looks good.
Let your guide know
When you meet your guide, tell them if you’ve arranged a different drop-off point or have any needs that may affect your experience.

Where do I meet my guide?
Our Lofoten sightseeing and Northern Lights tours normally meet at Thon Hotel Svolvær. Always check your booking confirmation for the exact meeting point and time for your tour.
Will the tour run if the weather is bad?
Lofoten’s weather is part of the experience, and a rainy or cloudy forecast does not automatically mean cancellation. We may change the route or stops to suit conditions. If we need to cancel a tour before departure, we’ll contact you with the options available.
Can I bring luggage?
If you need to bring large suitcases or would like a different drop-off point, contact us before the tour. Space and alternative drop-offs must be confirmed in advance.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
Use the platform where you booked, or contact us if you booked directly. The cancellation conditions shown in your booking confirmation apply.
