Senja and Kvaløya on a full-day Arctic island adventure through some of
Northern Norway's most scenic
coastal landscapes.
Explore the Arctic wilderness of Senja and experience the beauty that the island is famous for. This scenic day tour takes you through the
dramatic fjord and
mountain landscapes of both Senja and Kvaløya, featuring some of the
region's most incredible and famous photo spots.
Your adventure begins with pickup from Scandic The Dock in Tromsø. From there, we travel through the
beautiful landscapes of Kvaløya before taking the
scenic ferry across to Senja.
As we enter Senja, prepare to be amazed by its ever-changing scenery. Highlights include famous viewpoints such as
Bergsbotn, Tungeneset,
Ersfjord beach and other spectacular roadside locations offering postcard-worthy views of
sharp mountain ridges meeting the sea.
We take our time at the best locations, allowing you to capture the landscapes at their finest.
Midway through the tour, we stop for a
traditional Norwegian outdoor lunch.
Your guide will share insights into
local nature,
wildlife and
Arctic life, giving you a deeper understanding of what makes Northern Norway so unique. After exploring Senja, we begin
our journey back to Tromsø, travelling through the scenic landscapes and small coastal communities of Senja and Northern Norway.
Keep an eye out for

sea eagles, reindeer, moose, otters and

We arrive back in Tromsø around 18:30, after a full day in Senja's dramatic scenery, hopefully

Yes. All ferry crossings, tolls and road fees are included in the price. There is no additional cost to this tour.
What time will we return to Tromsø?
The planned return time is an estimate. Traffic, weather, road conditions and ferry schedules can cause delays, so we recommend avoiding important restaurant reservations, flights or other time-sensitive plans immediately after the tour.
Are there toilet stops during the tour?
Yes. Toilet facilities are available during selected stops, including the ferry crossing
How much time will we spend driving?
Senja is a considerable distance from Tromsø, so several hours of the day are spent travelling.
The journey is part of the experience, with changing Arctic scenery, selected photo stops and a scenic ferry crossing there is still plenty of time to be spent outdoors!
Will we have enough daylight during the winter?
Daylight is limited during the winter, particularly during the polar night. We plan the itinerary around the available light, therefore we might start the tour earlier during polar night.
