Your evening begins at Thon Hotel Svolvær, where you will meet your guide. Before departure, your guide will review the latest weather forecasts, cloud movements and aurora activity to choose the most promising route for the night.

Instead of visiting one fixed location, we search for clearer skies and the best available viewing conditions. Depending on the weather, the journey may take you toward quiet beaches, open fjords, traditional fishing villages or mountain landscapes away from the lights of Svolvær.

Along the way, your guide will explain the Northern Lights, local conditions and life in the Arctic. When conditions are right, you will have time to enjoy the night sky while your guide captures professional photographs of you and the aurora.

Warm drinks and light snacks are included, and thermal suits are available to help keep you comfortable during the Arctic night. With no more than eight guests, the tour offers a personal and relaxed experience with plenty of attention from your guide.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Svolvær or along the evening’s return route.
